The HAND GILDED is a LIMITED EDITION PRINTS of 5 copies, and it only comes in size cm 40x50.
It is hand gilded with gold leaf by me, numbered and signed.  
 
All the prints are printed unframed with approximately a 3 cm white border, where it is signed.
They come with a signed certificate of autenthicity and securely packed in a padded envelop or a roll.
Please allow up to 14 days for processing and shipping from the order date.
 
Tip: Pick a frame that's one size larger than the print, and add a mat passepartout. That will give the print plenty of room to shine.

"Sunrise hope II" original painting is an Oil and gold leaf on canvas, cm 40x50, 2019 and is now SOLD.
 
 
It is the second painting on the theme of “Hope”. It is a representation of a beginning, with two little bluebirds about to fly into the wind, in the gold of a new sunrise, in a warm glowing light.
In traditional Iroquois cosmology, the call of the bluebird is believed to ward off the icy power of Sawiskera, the spirit of the winter. Its call caused Sawiskera to flee in fear and the ice to recede.
 
These birds fascinated me, for their weightless figures and their bright colours, with the union of deep blue and red-brown, cold and warm colours, winter and spring.
