Term and conditions

All copyright is retained by the artist. Artworks must not be resold or reproduced without the artist’s written permission.

No permission is given by the artist for any reproduction of content and images on this website or the commissioned artwork. When an artwork is commissioned, I reserve the right to display it on my website gallery and my social media pages. Customers who do not wish their commissioned artwork to be shown online must notify me before work commences.

If you pay online, I can accept payment securely through PayPal, or bank transfer. I can also accept payments in tree stalls without interest, with a 40% deposit, please CONTACT me to arrange. In this case, the work stays with me until the final payment. Throughout the drawing process, the customer will have the opportunity to request any changes to the work, until when the photo of the final artwork is sent to them, they may request any minor final changes. Once the customer has approved the final piece, I require the remaining balance to be paid before it is dispatched.

If the customer does not approve of the final result prior to it being dispatched, then they are not obligated to pay the remaining balance but the deposit and the commissioned work itself will be retained by the artist.

Most of the artwork takes 2-4 weeks to complete but I will keep the customer up to date with the progress of their commission. If the customer needs the artwork for a specific date then they should advise the artist at the time of booking.

The artwork will arrive unframed unless otherwise requested but will be securely packaged to protect it during transit.

Artworks are usually bubble wrapped and packed with a wood or MDF panel where possible to protect the stretched canvas, and in cardboard boxes.

Larger canvases can be taken off the stretcher bars and shipped in sturdy tubes. This is a safer method for large paintings as well as cost effective. The paintings can be stretched again at your local framers.

Deliveries are insured, tracked and signed for, and are paid by the customer.

International shipping is available for an additional cost and will take a little longer to be delivered. The artist will not be held responsible for any tax or import duties of the customer’s country of residence, so the customer must ensure they are aware of these potential extra costs before agreeing to a commission.

If the customer incurs any issues with the order, in the first instance they must contact me, and I will do my best to help resolve them.

In the unlikely event that the artwork needs returning for alterations then the customer must cover the associated shipping costs both ways.

I package my artwork as safely and thoroughly as possible, but in the unlikely event that damage to the work occurs during transit then the recipient of the artwork must send a photo of the damaged artwork and original packaging immediately to assist with a claim against the courier.

If the damage to the artwork can be rectified, then I will require the work to be returned back to me, where I will correct the damage and ship the work back to you at no extra cost. If the artwork is damaged beyond repair then I will draw you a replacement at no extra cost, however, there may be a wait depending on my workload at the time.

Personal details and payment details collected by the artist will not be shared with third parties. They will strictly be used for correspondence in relation to your commission enquiry.

All commissions and artworks are not subject to Value Added Tax. Payment of import duty may be liable in some countries, which is the sole responsibility of the customer.
