AVAILABLE ORIGINAL PAINTINGS"GOLDEN BIRDS" COLLECTION
"Awaiting spring"
Oil, acrylic and gold leaf on canvas, 40x50x6 cm, 2019
FRAMED
three swallows resting gracefully on a branch, pausing before their long journey continues.
These fascinating birds fly thousands of miles every year in an impressive migration, a well-known symbol of hope for the future.
I love these little creatures; they are part of my childhood memories. Every year they used to flock in thousands, and I used to observe them from my windows. Nesting, flying, hunting, or singing. I used to dream about their freedom, their marvelous joy.
The background blends night and sunrise, winter and spring, shadow and light, evoking the eternal rhythm of change and the luminous anticipation of a new season.
EVERY PAINTING IS A PIECE OF ART, UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL. Please CONTACT me to purchase.

FRAME
All canvases are painted on the sides, so you do not necessarily have to frame them.
Nonetheless, I advise having one because paintings stand out and look more refined with
the proper frame. A tip I discovered with time is that a dark or black frame brings up all the details and light of the gold leaf. The glass top is also not advisable for oil paintings.
Your local, professional framer will apply the highest quality to your custom frame.
Of course, If you prefer a painting framed and ready to hang, please contact me
through the CONTACT page, and we can arrange it.
CARE FOR YOUR PAINTING
I apply a final coat of varnish to the original oil paintings, which protects the colors and surface from dust, time, humidity, and other environmental factors.
The varnish also protects the gold leaf, which would otherwise tarnish quickly.
The only advice, although not necessary because modern varnish is a very powerful and durable product, is to not position your painting in direct sunlight, which could damage the tone of the
gold leaf with time.
Please If you have any questions or concerns, CONTACT me. I'm happy to help you!

"Sunrise hope III"
Oil, acrylic and gold leaf on canvas, 40x50 cm, 2019
FRAMED
This work continues my exploration of the theme of “Hope.”
Inspired by the vivid plumage of these sociable birds, it captures the promise of spring—its blossoms, colors, and renewal of life. Their delicate figures, set among flowers, embody both joy and gentleness. The interplay of warm and cool tones—blue-greens with red-yellows—creates a sense of balance and harmony, while the vibrant pinks and lively blooms celebrate vitality, beauty, and the quiet equilibrium found in nature.

"Sunset rest"
Oil, acrylic and copper leaf on wood, 40x40x5 cm, 2019
This work is a representation of a sunset at the end of the winter, when the evening is still very cold, but you start to feel the first little signs of the new season. A colour, a smell, a bird song, a fleeting feeling.
In traditional Iroquois cosmology, the call of the bluebird is believed to ward off the icy power of Sawiskera, the spirit of the winter. Its call caused Sawiskera to flee in fear and the ice to recede. a timeless symbol of happiness and renewal. Here, three delicate figures rest in harmony, their bright plumage uniting deep blue with warm red-brown, echoing the balance of cold and warmth, winter and spring.
The luminous copper leaf softens the white of winter into the glow of sunset, infusing the scene with tranquillity, companionship, and a quiet sense of hope.

"Circular season"
oil and gold leaf on canvas, cm 50x50x5.5, 2021
FRAMED
Four swallows fly in a circle in the golden light of the sky. I love these little creatures; they are part of my childhood memories. Every year they used to flock in thousands, and I used to observe them from my windows. Nesting, flying, hunting, or singing. And I used to dream about their freedom, their travel, their fervent activity. They always bring me joy and serenity.
You can see the image of this painting from all four sides, and I love this idea of a perpetual, circular movement.
These fascinating birds fly thousands of miles every year. Every year they came back, no matter what. And they remind me that no matter what “this also shall pass”. Life knows better, knows its times, its seasons, in a cyclic endless repetition, where nothing ever rests the same.
Neither ourselves.

"The way we dance"
Oil and gold leaf on canvas, cm 50x50. 2022
FRAMED
A vibrant symphony of color and movement, this painting captures a cluster of hummingbirds soaring through a spectrum of rich greens, reds, blues, purples, and pinks. Framed by a warm, golden backdrop, these joyful creatures appear suspended in a light that radiates warmth and serenity. It remind a movement of dance, a movement that mirrors the exquisitely chaotic dance of life itself, where we all take part somehow, in our own ways. Though the world around us remains constantly shifting and beyond our control, there is a profound peace found in learning to navigate its rhythms. It serves as a timeless gentle reminder: when we embrace life's ups and downs with trust and adaptability, we find our footing. It is an invitation to pause, observe, and take part in the joyful beauty of the world that surrounds us.

"The Phoenix"
Oil and gold leaf 24 Kt on canvas, cm 70x90, 2026
FRAMED
This painting is Inspired by the elegance of Japanese aesthetics, I have simplified the colour palette and used Gold leaf 24 Karats. This piece is a different direction for me — in subject, setting, and technique. It felt both bold and peaceful — a reflection of where I’ve been, and where I am now.
The idea for this painting was born during a very difficult chapter in my life. It is a heron rising quietly from still waters, glowing in light. It is my beautiful Phoenix.
This painting is a symbol of healing, of rising again and is for every Phoenix among us — those who rise again, quietly, fiercely, beautifully.

"Exotic Visitors"
Oil and copper leaf on canvas, cm 60x40, 2025. FRAMED cm 63x43
Vibrant parakeets perch among copper leaves. Originally from distant lands, these birds remind us how ecosystems shift due to human intervention. While their presence adds an exotic beauty to the landscape, it also raises questions about biodiversity.
But this painting is also about family.
My husband captured the reference photo last spring from our window in Rome. We often watched this little group flutter through the trees, and I like to believe they were a family. One of them, perched just above the others, lacked the neck ring — possibly a juvenile, lovingly watched over by the parents.
There’s a quiet joy in these moments — watching life unfold outside your window, feeling connected to something small and tender. I wanted to honour that feeling in this work — a glimpse of togetherness, love, and belonging.

"Convivial gathering"
Oil and gold leaf on canvas, cm 40x60, 2026
FRAMED
A vibrant celebration of joyful optimism, this piece captures garden blue tits perched among rich red berries. Their bright yellow plumage and deep, lustrous blues glow against a radiant gold leaf background, turning a fleeting moment in nature into an uplifting image.
Though small, blue tits are famously bold. In folklore and spirit animal traditions, they symbolize mental agility and the courage to face life with a “big heart.” They remind us that we do not need to be the largest presence in the room to be brave or to make a meaningful impact.

"Meeting by the teasels"
Oil and gold leaf on canvas, cm 40x60, 2026
FRAMED
A flock of European goldfinches delicately balanced upon blooming teasel stalks. The vivid crimson of their faces and the bright yellow bars of their wings create a captivating dialogue with the earthy textures of the teasels.
In classical art and folklore, the goldfinch has long held a sacred place as a symbol of endurance, joy, and spiritual beauty. Its affinity for the thorned teasel—a plant both rugged and protective—reflects nature’s innate ability to find nourishment and grace in the most unexpected places.
Set against the timeless sheen of gold, the scene transforms into an act of reverence for everyday biodiversity. As ambient light shifts throughout the day, the gilded backdrop glows with shifting warmth, offering an invitation to pause, observe, and discover a sense of lasting peace in nature's quiet details.

"Love bird I"
Oil and gold leaf on oval canvas, cm 50x40, 2025
This work is a diptych inspired by the beauty and serenity of nature and a reflection on the dual nature of love—its deep commitment (devotion) and its fleeting, sometimes unattainable aspects (flight). I wanted to evoke the idea of hidden messages, beauty, and transformation, where the parrots symbolize the stay and the knowledge on one side and the living/arrival on the other. At the same time, flowers represent femininity, bloom, the fleeting nature of life, and the timeless essence of feminine strength and grace.

I can also accept payments in tree stalls without interest, with a 40% deposit. Please CONTACT me to arrange. In this case, I do not charge interest, but the work stays with me until the final payment.
PayPal’s Buyer Protection guarantee for PayPal users.

EVERY PAINTING IS A PIECE OF ART, UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL.

AVAILABLE ORIGINAL PAINTINGS"SOMETHING SMALL" COLLECTION
"Something small IV"
Oil and gold leaf on canvas, cm 20x 20,2023.
FRAMED
This first little bee painting was created during the quiet days of lockdown, a time when I reflected on how something so small, so often overlooked, might hold the power to save us. Part of the “Something Small” series, it draws inspiration from natural history collections, yet plays with irony: while bees may be tiny in size, their importance is immense. Phenomenal creatures on which our survival depends, they embody resilience, intelligence, and fragility. In their delicate presence lies a reminder that what seems insignificant can, in truth, sustain the very balance of life on our planet.
These delicate beings, painted with precise care and shimmering gold, represent presence, purpose, and the quiet strength in the small. This collection magnifies the overlooked, reminding us that even the tiniest life holds profound beauty and symbolism. A poetic ode to mindfulness and transformation, each piece asks the viewer to slow down and listen.

It is part of a series I am working on about the insect world.
It is called "Something Small", it draws inspiration from natural history collections, yet plays with irony: while bees may be tiny in size, their importance is immense. Phenomenal creatures on which our survival depends, they embody resilience, intelligence, and fragility. In their delicate presence lies a reminder that what seems insignificant can, in truth, sustain the very balance of life on our planet.
These delicate beings, painted with precise care and shimmering gold, represent also presence, purpose, and the quiet strength in the small. This collection magnifies the overlooked, reminding us that even the tiniest life holds profound beauty and symbolism. A poetic ode to mindfulness and transformation, each piece asks the viewer to slow down and listen.
EVERY PAINTING IS A PIECE OF ART, UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL.
