The HAND GILDED is a LIMITED EDITION PRINTS of 10 copies, and it only comes in size cm 40x50.
It is hand gilded with gold leaf by me, numbered and signed.  
 
All the prints come unframed printed with approximately a 2 cm white border, where it is signed.
 
They come with a signed certificate of authenticity and securely packed in a envelop or a roll.

I love these little creatures; they are part of my childhood memories. Every year they used to flock in thousands, and I used to observe them from my windows. Nesting, flying, hunting, or singing. 
 
I used to dream about their freedom, their marvellous joy.
 
They really were a lively, characteristic part of the spring, a beautiful time of the year in Rome.
 
The colours of the background remind me of the encounter between night and sunrise, cold and warm, winter and spring, dark and light.
